Super rare version of Bellhead by Liquid Liquid. Recorded, mixed and mastered all in one day.
The reason why it’s rare is because the band destroyed nearly all of the copies. I guess out of shame? Which is stupid, because this is seriously my favourite song by them, and it’s even better than the previous, more well-known version they recorded.
Makes me want to start an all-percussion band. You’re soulless if you don’t move at all to this song.
Not a surprise that the guy who compiled the Disco Not Disco compilations makes good stuff himself.
No Wave Michael Jackson covers.
You can’t mess with this.
Apt how they’re named Factory Floor, this sounds like something that would be played at The Haçienda.
Hi, Mark E. Smith, what are you doing in an early house song?
For those who disowned Azealia Banks in light of her recent controversy (eh, I still like her stuff even though what she said was horribly dumb), you can still listen to her sick beats by looking up Lone, Lazy Jay and Machinedrum.
You can’t even touch that drum beat.
I’m all right with parties, but I don’t go out of my way to go to them. I don’t cry over staying in on Saturdays or anything like that. Tea and a book sounds way more awesome to me most of the time.
But sometimes, I want to throw on disco house parties and see people dance to the stuff I put on.
I understand why being a DJ would be so great.
